We are still at Orange in the Covid Framework. Face masks are recommended when coming into the club rooms and we ask that you sanitise your hands. The tables are well spaced out for everyone!
Remember if you are feeling unwell please do not come to training.
We are hoping to hold our Club AGM in July and will email all our members when the date is confirmed.

NZ Road Race Championships
The New Zealand Championships will be held in Upper Hutt on Sunday 4 September. Auckland Teams will be selected for grades U18 and above. If you are interested in going then you can email the Athletics Auckland Office to express an interest in being in the Auckland Team.

COMING UP JULY
CLUB CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPS Saturday 2nd July Te Henga – Bethells

This is the club champs and all paid up members can compete. This is the closest to estimated time
event, Please note you cannot wear a watch for this event. Club uniform should be worn by club
members. Meet at 2pm at the Surf Club. Safety briefing at 2:15pm race starts at 2:30pm. Please
bring a plate to share for the afternoon tea after the event. All club members pay a small fee of $2
per runner – bring on the day. Juniors this will be covered from our fundraising money.
Juniors U16 – a 3.6km course dunes and a stream
Ladies and Men 70+ – a 3.6km course dunes and a stream
Ladies and Men 65+ – a 6km course of dunes/stream/hill and beach.
Men – an 8km course of dunes/stream/hill and beach.
XTERRA RACE #3 Hunua – Sunday 3rd July 2022

MAST TO CLUB – Saturday 9th July

This is a closest to estimated time event which means no watches can be worn – Juniors your course is 4km and seniors you have the choice of 4km , 6km , 9km . The start of all the races are at the beginning of Exhibition Drive near the water care filter (ED) .
The 4km starts at 2:30 – run/walk to the gate which is where Shaw road meets (ED) and back to the start.
The 6km starts at 2:15 – run/walk the full length of ED to the bottom of the Beveridge track gate and then back to the start.
The 9km run starts at 2:00 (walkers at 1:30) run/walk ED then carry on up Beveridge to the picnic table and back down again to the start. You must use the foot wash station at the bottom of the Beveridge Track.
RUN AUCKLAND RACE TWO – Sunday 10th July

the Wednesday pack runs/walks and participate in the Glen Eden run competitions – This
registration is for Seniors Only – U18 and over – $30.
